Abstract
Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury is a common condition among football athletes that can significantly affect their performance and career. Optimal recovery requires effective rehabilitation methods to allow athletes to safely and efficiently return to competition. This study aimed to analyze the effects of hydrotherapy rehabilitation methods and land exercises on ACL injury recovery, specifically in improving the range of motion (ROM) of knee flexion and extension. A two-group pretest–posttest design was used, involving a hydrotherapy rehabilitation group and a land exercise group. ROM of the knee joint was measured using a goniometer. The results of the paired sample t-test indicated that both methods significantly improved ROM in flexion and extension (p = 0.000). These findings suggest that both methods are effective in accelerating ACL recovery. Therefore, they are recommended for inclusion in ACL injury rehabilitation programs, especially in the early recovery phase. This research contributes to the development of efficient, evidence-based rehabilitation strategies for sports medicine practitioners.

DOI: https://doi.org/10.56984/8ZG007D05RB

Abstract
Background. The effect of chocolate drinks on pulse recovery in Medan State University Sparta table tennis athletes was examined in this study. One of the common challenges faced by table tennis athletes during intense training or competition is the inability to fully recover from fatigue between training sessions or consecutive matches. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of consuming chocolate drinks on pulse recovery in table tennis athletes.
Materials and methods. The study employed an experimental quantitative design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach, where a single sample group underwent two assessments: before and after the intervention. The study population consisted of Sparta table tennis athletes from Medan State University. The Harvard Step Test method was used, followed by manual pulse rate measurement. Data analysis involved descriptive techniques, including the normality test and paired t-test.
Results. The study results showed a p-value of 0.00 (p < 0.05), with a mean difference of 18.66 between the pre-test and post-test groups. This indicates a statistically significant difference before and after the intervention. The findings suggest that consuming chocolate drinks has a significant effect on VO2max recovery in Sparta table tennis athletes at Medan State University.
Conclusion. The consumption of chocolate drinks significantly improves pulse recovery and VO2max levels in table tennis athletes, facilitating better recovery between training sessions and matches.

Abstract
The provision of good treatment can increase various positive things for the growth and development of children with disabilities, one of which is Positive and Negative Reinforcement. This study aims to determine the influence of positive and negative reinforcement on enhancing motivation for basic locomotor movements in children with disabilities. This study uses a pre-experimental, one-group pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted at Kendungkandang State Special School with a sample of 20 students. The data collection technique in this study uses tests and measurements. The results of the study showed a significant influence of Positive Reinforcement on the increase in basic locomotor motivation in children with disabilities. This result was confirmed by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Negative reinforcement also had a significant effect on improving basic locomotor motivation in children with disabilities, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Although both had a significant influence on improving basic locomotor motivation in children with disabilities, Positive Reinforcement was found to have a stronger effect. This result can be seen from the basic locomotor motion test, where the mean value for Positive Reinforcement was 72.50, while the mean value for Negative Reinforcement was only 63. Therefore, this research concludes that Positive Reinforcement has a greater influence on enhancing basic locomotor motivation in children with disabilities.

DOI: https://doi.org/10.56984/8ZG5608E3C

Abstract
Ankle weight and double leg speed hop training models are two models that can be used by trainers to increase the speed of dollyo chagi kicks in taekwondo martial arts. This study aims to find out: 1) the difference in the effect between ankle weight and double leg speed hop training on the speed of dollyo chagi taekwondo athletes; 2) the difference in influence between athletes who have high and low leg power on the speed of dollyo chagi taekwondo athletes; 3) The interaction between the ankle weight and double leg speed hop training models as well as high and low leg power on dollyo chagi speed in terms of the leg power of taekwondo athletes. This type of research is experimental research with a 2×2 factorial design. The population in this study amounted to 38 people. The sample in this study amounted to 20 people who then used ordinal pairing to divide each group. The instrument used is to measure speed, namely dollyo chagi kicks while leg power uses digital vertical jump. The data analysis technique used is ANOVA two way. The results showed that: 1) there was a significant difference in the effect between Ankle weight and double leg speed hop training on the speed of dollyo chagi taekwondo athletes, as evidenced by a p significance value of 0.000 and an F value of 25.579, the results of the analysis of the ankle weight exercise group of 21.60 higher (good) compared to the double leg speed hop exercise group of 18.90, 2) there is a significant difference in the influence on the ability of leg power in the kick speed component of dollyo chagi, as evidenced by the results that the significance value of p is 0.002 and the F value is 5.930, there is a significant difference in influence with the analysis of the group that has high leg muscle power of 21.60 higher (good) than the low leg muscle power group of 19.60. 3) There is a significant interaction between ankle weight and double leg speed hop training on the speed of dollyo chagi taekwondo athletes, as evidenced by the results of a p significance value of 0.003 and an F value of 12.667, So from this study it can be concluded that there is a significant improvement to both training models, this needs to be considered in the planning and implementation stages of training programs to improve athlete performance in terms of speed on kicks.

Abstract
Traditional sports games have become an important part of the cultural heritage we inherited from our ancestors. However, with the development of technology and changes in modern lifestyles, traditional sports games have seen a decline in popularity among children. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the role of traditional sports games in increasing children’s endurance in an innovative way.  This research uses a qualitative descriptive research model that is a literature study that uses various literature reviews in strengthening research analysis. This research began by collecting some literature, then conducted a review and the collected literature was analyzed with a critical Apprasial table of 10 literature. The results showed that traditional sports games were able to provide significant benefits for children’s endurance. Through these games, children develop motor skills, body coordination, and balance. They also learn to cope with challenges, develop social skills, such as cooperation and communication, and gain a sense of pride in their cultural heritage.  In addition, the introduction of traditional sports games adapted to innovative elements, such as the use of technology or the setting of new rules, can increase children’s interest in participating. This allows them to maintain a connection to the traditions of the past while experiencing the joys and challenges presented in a more contemporary context.  This research provides recommendations for educators and parents to promote traditional sports games as an integral part of children’s educational and activity curricula. Thus, children can develop innovative resilience through activities that honor their ancestral heritage.
