Abstract
Background. Arm muscle endurance is very important for martial arts athletes to support strength and endurance during matches. Exercise methods such as TRX and body weight training are considered effective for improving muscular endurance, but the comparison of the two has not been widely studied.
Objective. This study aims to analyze the effect of TRX and body weight training on the endurance of arm muscles of martial arts athletes. This study used an experimental design by dividing the sample into two groups, namely the TRX exercise group and the body weight training group. A total of 24 pencak silat athletes who met the inclusion criteria participated in this study. Each group underwent a 5-week exercise program with adjusted intensity and frequency. Measurement of arm muscle endurance was carried out before and after the intervention using the dipping test to obtain comprehensive quantitative data. Data were analyzed by t-test to see the difference in results between the two groups using SPSS version 26.
Results. The analysis showed pre-test dipping test in the TRX group with an average of 14.67 and a post-test of 21.42 with a difference of 6.75. In the body weight training group, pre-test results averaged 13.25 and post-test 18.58, with a difference of 5.33. The results of the paired t-test showed a significant increase in arm muscle endurance in both groups (p < 0.05).
Conclusion. The TRX training group showed a higher improvement than the body weight training group. TRX training is proven to be more effective in training arm muscle endurance and stability, while body weight training is effective as a simple supporting training method that still has a positive impact on muscle endurance. Combining these two methods is recommended for an optimal pencak silat training program.

Abstract
This study aims to explore future research directions concerning retired athletes through a bibliometric analysis based on a literature review, utilizing the VOS Viewer application. The research employs a literature review methodology incorporating three tools: Harzing’s Publish or Perish, Mendeley Desktop, and VOS Viewer. Harzing’s Publish or Perish was used to identify articles published in international journals indexed in Scopus from 2016 to 2024 using the keyword “retired athlete.” Mendeley Desktop and VOS Viewer were applied to filter and categorize articles by keywords, as well as to analyze performance, co-citation, bibliographic integration, and scientific mapping. An initial search with Harzing’s Publish or Perish yielded 153 articles. After thematic filtering, 96 articles were retained, and 33 were further analyzed using VOS Viewer. The keyword analysis, based on clustering, highlights prevalent challenges faced by retired athletes, including mental health, well-being, quality of life, physical activity, risk factors, suicide, and career transitions. However, prevention strategies addressing these issues remain underexplored. Consequently, research on preventive measures, such as the development of educational and training models to help retired athletes maintain their fitness, quality of life, and overall well-being, presents a promising avenue for future studies.

DOI: https://doi.org/10.56984/8ZG01A8Q3S7

Abstract
Obesity can cause physiological disorders. These physiological disturbances cannot be separated from the roles of irisin. Exercising with the right measure, measurable, and regularly is a strategy for dealing with obesity. The aims of this study were (1) to determine the effect of irisin levels on exercise with the Moderate Intensity Interval Training (MIIT) and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) levels models in obese rats.
This research is a true experimental laboratory study with a pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted at the Bioscience Laboratory of Brawijaya University, Malang. The research sample used 27 obese male Wistar rats divided into 9 MIIT group rats, 9 HIIT rats, and 9 control rats. Exercise intervention is given for 6 weeks at a frequency of 4 times per week. The intensity of MIIT (60–80% of base line ability), HIIT (90–100% of base line ability), irisin levels are obtained from blood tests using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Data analysis used the Anova test and post hoc Tukey analysis with a significance level of 0.01.
The results showed that there was no significant difference in irisin levels (p = 0.507). The HIIT irisin difference was lower than MIIT (p = 0.932) and Control (p = 0.491), and there was no difference in irisin value between the MIIT and Control groups (p = 0.708).

DOI: https://doi.org/10.56984/8ZG2EF8UnC

Abstract
In order to explore the comparison of Chinese and international frontier hots pots and development trend on physical literacy in education (PLIE) research, 118 research articles included in China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and 1439 research articles included in Web of Science (WOS) core collection related to “physical literacy in education” were used as the research objects. CiteSpace V (version 5.8.R3 – 64 bit) is used to create a visual knowledge map of this research field and analyzed the time distribution, authors, institutions and keywords. The results show that the time distribution of research stages in China is generally consistent with that of international research. Although Chinese research in this field is also among the top in the world, the distribution of authors and institutions is more homogeneous than international ones, and the cooperation between authors and institutions is very weak. In terms of the age distribution of the study population, international studies cover almost all age groups and are more diverse in research content. In contrast, Chinese research is limited to focus on adolescents and college students, and the research content is mostly on physical education and school physical education. There is still a gap between China and the international advanced level in the field of PLIE research, and it is necessary to strengthen the longitudinal and interdisciplinary exploration in the future. The concept of physical literacy needs to be further researched and defined and more research results need to be published in influential journals to expand the influence of the field of PLIE research both in China and internationally.

Abstract
Academic Procrastination is an alarming phenomenon in education sector nowadays. It would be a big obstacle in the learning process especially for high school students.  The aim of this research is to understand the influence and relationship between the interest of doing physical exercises and psychological well-being to procrastination. The population of this research were 355 students of XI grade of SMAN 1 Muntilan.Using purposive sampling, 101 students were obtained as the sample. Data analysis technique using product moment correlation and linear regression with the interest in doing physical exercises (X1) and psychological well-being (X2) as independent variables, and procrastination (Y) as the dependent variable. The results show that almost all of students (80%) have a trend to do academic procrastination. This is shown  by 67.3% of students having moderate procrastination and 16.8% of students having high procrastination behavior. There is a negative correlation between the interest in doing physical exercises and psychological well-being with procrastination, where the correlation coefficients are −0.554 and −0.164, respectively. A negative correlation can be interpreted if an increase in one variable is associated with a decrease in another variable in this context, namely when the physical exercise and psychological well-being variables increase, there is a decrease in students’ tendency to engage in procrastination behavior. Meanwhile in regression analysis with 5% significant level shows only interest of doing physical exercises that significant influencing procrastination with p-value = 0.000.

DOI: https://doi.org/10.56984/8ZG20A9F1

Abstract
The key foundation for a child’s overall development is their early years. As children learn new things and acquire new types of movement, they require continuous and appropriate support for their cognitive development and movement abilities at this stage. Children’s lives revolve around play because it gives them the opportunity to engage with others, explore their surroundings, and acquire new skills. Stability of posture, or postural balance, is important for young children’s development. A child’s general health can suffer as a result of decreased muscle strength, coordination, and cognitive function brought about by accidents, sports injuries, or aging. This increases the risk of a child falling. Children have the opportunity to exercise and enhance their balance while walking on a balance beam, which is a stable board with supports underneath. Open-ended play, such as that involving a balance beam, can foster children’s imagination and creativity. Data for this study were collected through an online survey method. The entire existing population was used as the sample in a targeted sampling strategy. The online survey was given to 11 participants, and the results showed that 84.3% observed an improvement in balance in young children, 66.9% understood the advantages and risks of using a balance beam, and 87.2% of coaches had used a balance beam when they were younger. One of the training methods to enhance balance skills in young children is the balance beam.

Abstract
Introduction. Physical activity in education should be tailored to students’ nature to allow them to develop their potential without facing challenges. The educational approach at the elementary school level fundamentally differs from that of higher educational levels. Elementary education prioritizes engaging and straightforward learning experiences.
Aim. This study aimed to identify challenges faced when learning artistic gymnastics at the elementary school level.
Method. This study employed a descriptive research approach, aiming to gather comprehensive information about a specific phenomenon. In this context, the phenomenon under investigation is the experience of elementary school students learning artistic gymnastics movements. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire. The study sample comprised 80 elementary school students from Sleman Regency.
Result. The analysis revealed that difficulties in learning artistic gymnastics in elementary schools can be categorized into three primary elements: student-related, teacher-related, and infrastructure-related. Out of 80 students: 60 reported no personal difficulties, 45 indicated difficulties understanding teacher instructions, 55 stated no issues regarding infrastructure availability. It’s evident from these findings that teacher-related factors significantly influence students’ learning challenges.
Conclusion. The analysis indicates that out of the three elements identified, the teacher-related aspect requires the most attention, primarily because students often found it challenging to understand the teacher’s instructions for performing artistic gymnastics activities.
