DOI: https://doi.org/10.56984/8ZG020AADN

Abstract:
Introduction. The human body is shaped by internal conditions like structural asymmetry and genetic determinants, as well as external conditions such as kinesthetic habits, intellectual, spiritual, and emotional experiences.
Material, method. Body posture tests were carried out in a group of 65 children aged 7 years, using the projection moiré method in four positions: (1) habitual posture, (2) posture after a 10-minute load with a 4-kilogram backpack, (3) one minute after the load was removed, (4) two minutes after the load was removed.
Results. The study analyzed the correlations between differences in body posture in frontal, sagittal, and transversal planes under various conditions. The findings show that the greatest disturbances during the transportation of the backpack and two-minute restitution occur in the frontal plane.
Conclusions. (1) The greatest disturbances occur in the frontal plane during the two-minute restitution phase. (2) The smallest postural disturbances occur when the backpack is carried on the back, while the greatest disturbances are caused by carrying it with one hand or on the chest.

DOI: https://doi.org/10.56984/8ZG5608X9E

Abstract
This study investigates the condition of (1) nutritional status, (2) physical fitness, (3) physical activity patterns of sports science study program students after the pandemic. The research method uses quantitative methods with analytical observational design. The research subjects were sports students from the Sports Science study program, FIKK UNY. The subjects were active students totaling around 50 participants determined using purposive sampling techniques. Physical fitness data collection techniques use the BMI formula, bleep test and GPAQ questionnaire. Techniques for analyzing data with homogeneity and normality. The results obtained from nutritional status and cardiovascular fitness can be said to be still unsatisfactory, nutritional status is in the normal or ideal category, but the range of cardiovascular abilities is still in the adequate category for men and inadequate for women. Meanwhile, the measurement results from filling out the GPAQ questionnaire show that there is still a need to increase awareness of the importance of physical activity, indicated by transportation and recreational activities of moderate intensity which are still in the category of not meeting the recommendations, even though heavy, moderate physical activity and vigorous recreational activities meet the recommendations. Nutritional status is still in the normal category, but the range of cardiovascular abilities is still in the adequate category for men and inadequate for women. This is positively correlated with moderate intensity physical activity patterns, transportation and recreation, which are still in the category of not meeting recommendations. The sedentary habits usually carried out by sports students must be able to be transferred as soon as possible to more useful and productive movement activities. Amount of leisure time for physical activity is still relatively low, whereas other moderate to vigorous physical activity habits are beginning to resurface. There must be an intentional strategy to provide suggestions on how to spend free time performing activities outdoors or indoors.

DOI: https://doi.org/10.56984/8ZG2EF82sK

Abstract
Background of the Study. Physical fitness is crucial for athletes, enabling them to endure rigorous training and meet competitive demands effectively. It encompasses both health-related attributes, such as cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength, and skill-related components like agility and speed. Various training methods, including circuit training (CT), have been explored to enhance fitness levels among athletes. Despite the growing popularity of CT in various sports, comprehensive research on its effects on athletes’ physical fitness has been limited.
Aim. The present review aims to clarify the effects of CT on physical fitness among team sports Athletes.
Material and Methods. In accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA) Statement guidelines, the systematic search of PubMed and Google Scholar databases was undertaken on the 28th of August, 2023, to identify the reported studies, using a combination of keywords related to CT, physical fitness, and athletes. Of the 566 studies, only 18 articles met all eligibility criteria and were included in the systematic review. The assessment was performed on the Pedro scale, and the study quality included in the eighteen studies was fair (ranging from 5 to 6).
Results. The results showed that speed (n = 12) was the aspect of physical fitness studied in CT interventions, followed by muscular strength (n = 10), power (n = 13), balance (n = 2), body composition (n = 2), agility (n = 14), flexibility (n = 5), muscular endurance (n = 7), and cardiovascular endurance (n = 8). Existing evidence concludes that CT significantly impacts speed, muscular strength, power, balance, flexibility, agility, body composition, and cardiovascular endurance.
Conclusions: The CT method is one of the ways of physical fitness training aiming at general development, which includes all the physical aspects. Furthermore, there is still limited numbers of evidence showing the effect of CT on agility, body composition, and speed.

Abstract
In post-COVID-19 pandemic conditions, students are not engaging in physical activity both at school and at home, leading to a decline in the quality of students’ physical fitness. The objective of this study is to enhance the physical fitness of students by implementing a well-structured, accurate, consistent, and quantifiable physical exercise program, while also monitoring sports activities undertaken by students. This research employs a pseudo-experimental pre-test post-test design. The study sample consisted of 117 students. The selection technique utilized is purposive sampling. The instrument for assessing physical fitness is the Indonesian Physical Freshness Test (TKJI). The data analysis technique employs paired sample t-tests. The findings reveal a significant effect of the sports activity program on students’ physical fitness, with an average physical fitness score increase of 13% for Junior High School 01, 11% for Junior High School 39, 9% for Junior High School 14, and 5% for Junior High School 24. This is corroborated by t-test results using a paired sample t-test, with a t-value of −3.754 and a significance value of p = 0.001 (p < 0.05). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of sports activity programs in various junior high schools in the city of Padang significantly improves students’ physical fitness in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era.
