Abstract
This study aims to develop a valid and reliable guidebook for identifying judo talent, which can be used to assess the potential of young judo athletes. The research employs a research and development methodology. On a small scale, the study involved participants from the Wira Mataram Judo Club, while large-scale testing was conducted with Talented Athletes Development (PAB) BPO DIY and PJSI Bantul Regency. All participants in the product trials were judo athletes aged 10–13 years. The data analysis technique used a giftedness formula by calculating the mean (M) and standard deviation (SD) of test results, which were then classified into five categories based on a normal distribution: very talented, talented, moderately talented, less talented, and not talented. The data from each test type were processed and converted into a giftedness formula. The study identified 17 judo talent identification test items, including:
– Anthropometric tests: 4 items – height, body fat, body weight, sitting height
– Biomotor tests: 8 items – strength (wall sit, push-up, back-up, sit-up), agility (side step test), flexibility (sit and reach), balance (dynamic balance test), endurance (Harvard step test)
– Skill-specific tests: 5 items – ushiro ukemi (sitting position), yoko ukemi (lying position), yoko ukemi (squatting and standing position), mae ukemi (kneeling position), jugeri/mae mawari ukemi
The overall effectiveness test results showed a validity score of 0.86 and a reliability score of 0.9.

DOI: https://doi.org/10.56984/8ZG00E18932

Abstract
Introduction. Each player’s futsal skills are a very important element in supporting team success. Basic futsal skills require precise instrument measurements so that the level of skill can be assessed for learning purposes and achievement improvement in futsal. Proper and age-appropriate instrument measurements that have validity and reliability levels are systematic procedures used to observe the behavior of a student or athlete, describe it through categorization, and also serve as a benchmark for training success. This study designs a basic futsal skills test measurement tool for players aged 18–23 years with the aim of producing a test format focused on dribbling and passing skills.
Objective. This study aims to construct a measurement tool for basic futsal skills, which has high validity and reliability in dribbling and passing tests for use in U-23 futsal learning and training processes.
Method. The research design used is development research with a product development planning procedure and the creation of initial product               types/models. The research involved futsal players aged 18–23 years from PORPROV Surakarta. Small group trials were conducted with 15 players, and large group trials involved 90 players from six regencies: Banyumas, Klaten, Kebumen, Kendal, Kudus, and Jepara. The study then conducted validity, reliability, and norm tests on the skills test instrument.
Results. The small-scale validity test for the basic dribbling skills test showed a value of 0.968, with a retest value of 0.964 and reliability of 0.979. The validity of the passing test was 0.910 with a retest of 0.981 and reliability of 0.947. In the large-scale test, the basic dribbling skills test showed a validity and retest value of 0.995, and reliability was 0.990. The large-scale validity for the basic passing skills test was 0.954 with a retest value of 0.989 and reliability of 0.977. These results indicate that the measuring instrument is reliable, as it produces consistent results over time. There were no differences in norms between the small and large groups for the U-23 dribbling and passing tests, so the measuring instrument can be considered objective.
Conclusion. This research produces a reliable measurement tool for assessing dribbling and passing skills in futsal players aged 18–23 years.

DOI: https://doi.org/10.56984/8ZG5608BK7

Abstract
This study intends to determine the effect of the fartlek training method on increasing cardio-pulmonary endurance and anaerobic endurance for men’s indoor hockey athletes at Yogyakarta State University. This type of research is an experimental research, using the one group pretest – posttest design method. The population in this study were UNY male indoor hockey athletes with a total of 12 people. The data collection technique in this study is a test. The 2.4 km running test instrument uses the Cooper test method to measure heart-lung endurance and the RAST test to measure anaerobic endurance. Data analysis in this study used the t-test, namely by comparing the pretest and posttest results of the experimental group. Based on data from the t-test analysis between pretest and posttest, the fartlek training method on increasing heart lung endurance has a calculated t value of 4.007 and t table df = 11 at a 5% significance level of 2.20. The calculated t value is 4.007 > t table of 2.20, and the p value = 0.002, because p is less than 0.05, there is a significant difference. Judging from the results of the average heart lung endurance capacity, the average pretest value was 12.58 and the average posttest value was 11.31, because the average pretest value was greater than the average posttest value so there was an increase heart lung endurance was 1.27/ 10.09%. Furthermore, the results of the second analysis, the t-test between the pretest and posttest of the fartlek training method on increasing anaerobic endurance, had a calculated t value of 22. 951 and the t table value df = 11 at a significance level of 5%, namely 2.20. The calculated t value is 22,951 > t table is 2.20, and the p value = 0.000, because p < 0.05 there is a significant difference. Judging from the average value of anaerobic endurance ability, the average pretest value is 305.16 and the average posttest value is 416.03, because the average pretest value is < the average posttest value, so there is an increase anaerobic endurance of 110.87/ 6.33%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the fartlek training method on increasing cardiopulmonary endurance and anaerobic endurance in men’s indoor hockey athletes at Yogyakarta State University. because p < 0.05, there is a significant difference. Judging from the average value of anaerobic endurance ability, the pretest average value is 305.16 and the posttest average value is 416.03, because the pretest average value is < than the posttest average value, so there is an increase anaerobic endurance of 110.87/ 6.33%. Thus it can be concluded that there is an effect of the fartlek training method on increasing cardio-pulmonary endurance and anaerobic endurance in men’s indoor hockey athletes at Yogyakarta State University. so there is an increase in anaerobic endurance of 110.87/ 6.33%.
