Abstract
Background and Study Aim. Obesity is a metabolic disease characterised by excessive fat accumulation. Indonesia ranks second after Singapore with the largest number of obese adolescents. The study aimed to assess the impact of physical activity, eating behavior, and sleep quality on Body Mass Index (BMI) in adolescents.
Materials and Methods. This study was quantitative, with an ex post facto design. The study included 231 students (136 males, 95 females) aged 16-19 years, each with a Body Mass Index (BMI) ≥ 25.1. Participants were healthy and consented to the study by completing a screening questionnaire. The analysis was performed using regression techniques in the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21 software.
Results. The selected regression model is feasible and demonstrates that physical activity, diet, and sleep quality collectively influence students’ BMI (p-value < 0.001).  Furthermore, the analysis shows that physical activity (p-value < 0.001), diet (p-value = 0.019), and sleep quality (p-value < 0.001) independently affect students’ BMI.
Conclusions. We suggest that schools need to hold counseling programs in collaboration with relevant health workers to conduct counseling with the prevention of malnutrition, especially obesity. Provide additional tasks in the form of physical activity that students must do at home with parental supervision and the results will be reported to the teacher as an additional task value. Parents should also provide supervision of eating behavior and sleep patterns. For future researchers to be able to reveal other variables that can affect student BMI, because our report found only 49.90%.

Abstract
The High-Intensity Interval Training program quickly became one of the most popular exercise regiments due to its ability to improve health by significantly impacting the body. This experimental study focused on determining the effectiveness of a 1-month High-Intensity Interval Training program to 10 selected clients which are classified as overweight and obese. Based on the findings, it was found that after participating in High-Intensity Interval Training for one month, most of the participants successfully reduced body measurements, vital signs, and body mass index. In terms of girth measurements, participants’ abdomen, chest and waist circumference improved significantly; while forearm and the legs have a slight significant difference. Based on blood pressure, it was observed that High-Intensity Interval Training may positively help to keep blood pressure in the normal range. However, no evidence to imply that this particular program can regulate it. Lastly, based on the pre- and post-test scores of the clients, it was observed that High-Intensity Interval Training program has a significant effect on the improvement on their girth measurement, vital signs, and body mass index. Performing a similar study to support or repudiate the claims of this study is highly recommended.

Blended learning versus online education: impact to elementary students’ engagement in physical activity and Body Mass Index

Abstract
Examining the impacts of blended and online learning settings on children’s fitness and body mass index in a sample of public elementary school pupils in the Philippines is the main objective of this study. A 16-week pre-test and post-test control group in a quasi-experimental approach. The experimental group received blended education, whereas the control group exclusively took classes online. The experimental and control groups consisted of 2 classes from an elementary school in Angeles and Mabalacat City. Anthropometrical characteristics were compared between groups using ANOVA. Pre-test and post-treatment body mass index percentiles and PA levels were compared using a paired t-test. First, there were no significant variance in the individuals’ anthropometrical characteristics between the two groups before intervention. Additionally, the blended learning group outperformed the online learning group on the post-test in terms of physical activity. After intervention, the mean BMI of the blended learning group decreased, but online students showed no improvement. Last but not least, when compared to the online learning group, the BMI percentile of the students in the blended learning group is within the usual range. The benefit of blended learning on the pupils’ physical composition was highlighted. Pupils’ levels of physical activity and body composition have improved as an outcome of the adjustment from traditional to online and blended learning settings. For the benefit of the students, it is advisable to make the most of a blended learning strategy and, if at all possible, return to the full face-to-face method.
