Abstract
Introduction. Health and full physical fitness are essential for any athlete. Possibilities that doping gives are tempting, but there are good reasons behind making them illegal. Instead, sport physiotherapy and legal and safe mean could be used.
Aim. Author tried to define questioned students’ opinion and experiences with doping and sport physiotherapy. Also, the aim was to check whether there exists statistically important correlation between answers and sociodemographic characteristics.
Methods. Author’s survey form has been used consisting of questions about opinion, experiences with doping and sport physiotherapy and respondent’s sociodemographic characteristics.
Results. This study has shown a statistically important correlation between respondent’sopinion and experiences with doping and sport physiotherapy and their sociodemographic characteristics.
Summary. Sport physiotherapy in Poland is still not of the best quality. There should be implemented some programs aiming at improvement of sport physiotherapy’s quality as well as promoting this alternative among young athlete.

Abstract
Introduction. Early recognition of posture defects and properly prepared and conducted corrective and compensatory plan are able to help children to regain the correct posture and avoid development of defects. Corrective activities should be available for all children that require them.
Aim. The aim of this research was to find whether there exists a statistically significant correlation between teachers’ socjo-demographic characteristics and their observations and opinions regarding posture defects and corrective activities for students.
Methods. Author’s survey form was used. The survey was conducted among 30 teachers teaching PE for pupils in classes 1-8.
Results. Most of the teachers noticed posture defects in their pupils. The number of such cases has risen along with the teachers’ seniority. They believe that there should be classes aiming at corrective activities or conducted at pools. Between most of the variables used a statistically significant correlation was observed.
Summary. The study shown that there is a need to organize corrective activities and PE classes at pools for pupils in classes 1-8. Introduction of such classes might bring significant benefits for students and help them maintain proper body posture.

Abstract
Introduction. Properly selected treatment and rehabilitation plan is essential for patient’s quick recovery. Beside the exact disease, patient’s demographics might also be important, influencing how he or she would like to undergo the rehabilitation and after finishing it – how he or she will judge the effects.
Aim. The aim of this study was to find if there exist a correlation between patient’s demographics and his or her usage and judgement about effects of the rehabilitation.
Methods. Author’s survey form was used, consisting of 11 questions about usage and judgement of the effects of rehabilitation and 6 questions about demographics. Survey was conducted on 121 patients from Masovian Specialist Hospital in Radom between January and February 2020.
Results. Correlation was found for only part of the studied relations, pointing that there exists a relation between demographics and usage and judgement of effects of rehabilitation.
Summary. Individuals planning and prescribing rehabilitation should not only take the specific injury or disability into consideration, but also patient’s demographics to help them as much as possible to quickly gain the full physical ability.

Abstract
Introduction. Increasing number of patients at oncology wards makes the oncology one of the most important problems of medicine today. Highly qualified and experienced medical personnel can provide patients with medical care with the highest quality and allow them to regain health sooner.
Aim. The aim in this paper was to check if a correlation between education and experience of nurses and physiotherapists and level of knowledge about central nervous system cancers exists.
Material and research methods. A custom survey form has been used, containing questions about correct and incorrect body parameters, factors influencing development and course of central nervous system cancers, typical symptoms and diagnostic tests used and about respondents’ characteristics. The survey was conducted on a group of 125 medical personnel working in provincial and specialistic hospitals in Radom.
Results. The research has shown a statistically significant correlation between level of education and professional experience and level of knowledge of medical personnel.
Conclusions. It is significant to constantly increase the level of knowledge and acquire professional experience by medical personnel to provide oncology patients medical care with the highest quality. It is reasonable to promote raising qualifications by nurses and physiotherapists to refresh or increase knowledge.

Abstract
Objective. The objective of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of classic massage therapy in combination with other rehabilitation treatments and its influence on the reduction of pain intensity in people diagnosed with back pain syndrome.
Material and method. The study was conducted using a questionnaire form at the HIPOKRATES clinic in Krakow. The study involved 150 people who underwent massage therapy, and physiotherapy and kinesitherapy treatment recommended by a physician. To assess the effectiveness of massage therapy in combination with other treatments, the degree of pain intensity was determined in all patients using the VAS visual analog scale before and after completed rehabilitation. The questions also concerned the duration of back pain, knowledge of the principles of ergonomics, use of other treatments besides massage therapy, the time after which the pain was reduced and the duration of positive effects, the effects of massage therapy combined with other rehabilitation treatments, and well-being.
Results. On average, in people using rehabilitation, pain symptoms began to decrease after the fourth treatment. After a series of treatments, most of the respondents experienced improved functioning in everyday life, and pain and increased muscle tone decreased. The patients’ well-being improved considerably, and the dose of painkillers taken was reduced.
Conclusions. Massage therapy in combination with kinesiotherapy and physiotherapy is an effective form of therapy for the treatment of back pain syndrome.
