Abstract

Kinesitherapy constitutes the basic method of rehabilitation for patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The rehabilitation process consists in improving the patients’ functional capacity to such an extent that they will be able to realize their fullest potential in the physical, mental, social, professional, avocational, and educational spheres. The present study discusses the basic techniques and exercises used in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
